Feeding Guidelines

Norsh is suitable for adult and senior dogs of all breeds and sizes. Feeding amounts can be adjusted depending on your dog's size, age, and activity level. Please note Norsh is not suitable for puppies.

Yes, we recommend transitioning gradually by mixing Norsh with your dog's current food over a 14-day period to help their tummy adjust:

Days 1–4: 20% Norsh, 80% old food
Days 5–7: 40% Norsh, 60% old food
Days 8–10: 60% Norsh, 40% old food
Days 11–13: 80% Norsh, 20% old food
Day 14: 100% Norsh

It depends on the allergy. Dogs can be allergic or sensitive to specific ingredients, most commonly certain proteins. If your dog has a known allergy, we'd suggest:

1. Checking the ingredient list carefully and avoiding any proteins or ingredients your dog reacts to.
2. Choosing a flavour with a protein your dog hasn't had issues with before.
3. Transitioning slowly and monitoring how your dog responds.

Norsh is complete and balanced for adult and senior dogs, but it isn't suitable for puppies. Puppies have unique nutritional needs, so we'd recommend a food specifically formulated for their life stage, alongside guidance from your vet.

Feeding amounts depend on your dog's size, age, and lifestyle. Follow the guidance on your packaging or on our website to make sure you're giving your dog the correct amount.

Delivery

DPD will attempt delivery to your address. If you're regularly out during the day, we recommend using your workplace as your delivery address. Please ensure you provide an up-to-date mobile number at checkout so DPD can send you delivery updates by text.

If a delivery attempt is made and your parcel is returned to us, we're unable to reship free of charge. If your original order qualified for free delivery, standard postage charges will still apply to any resend. Postage must be paid in advance before we can resend your parcel.

We use DPD for all UK and Ireland deliveries. Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number which you can use at www.dpd.ie/tracking to follow your delivery.

We deliver across the UK (including Northern Ireland) and Ireland. Please note that surcharges apply to deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Islands, and other remote UK regions. For any international delivery enquiries, please contact us at hello@norshpetfood.com.

We don't currently offer a guaranteed next day delivery option. That said, as we dispatch from Northern Ireland, customers on the island of Ireland who place their order before 5pm may receive it the following day — though this isn't guaranteed.

UK Mainland: £7.50 standard delivery, free on orders over £50.
Ireland: €8.25 standard delivery, free on orders over €55.
Scottish Highlands & Islands and remote UK regions: £20 on orders under £100, free on orders over £100."

Orders are processed and dispatched within 2–3 working days, excluding public and bank holidays. Delivery times and dates are estimates only — while we always aim to get your pet food to you as quickly as possible, we cannot accept liability for late or non-delivery once an order has been dispatched.

Returns

Yes, this can happen. Depending on the size and weight of your order, items may be split across more than one parcel. DPD will always aim to deliver all parcels together, but on occasion separate parcels may arrive on different days within your 2–3 day delivery window. Please wait until day 3 before getting in touch with us at hello@norshpetfood.com.

We're sorry to hear that! At Norsh, we're committed to delivering the best quality pet food. If your order arrives damaged or faulty, we'll arrange a refund or replacement.

Please do the following:
• Keep the damaged items and packaging exactly as they arrived
• Take photographs immediately upon delivery
• Contact us within 30 days at hello@norshpetfood.com with your order number, best before date, and batch code

Do not return the damaged items to us — we'll advise on next steps once we've reviewed your claim.

As required under online and distance selling regulations, you have the right to cancel your order after it has been placed. However, once payment has been taken and your order has been processed, we may be unable to cancel it for operational reasons.

If your order has already been delivered and you'd like to return it, please contact us at hello@norshpetfood.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer, and original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund. All returned items must be unopened and undamaged.

Refunds are processed within 7–10 working days. If you haven't received your refund after this period, please check with your bank first, then contact us at hello@norshpetfood.com.
